Some of you may know my circus OCs and how much I love them, so I thought it'd be fun to hold a contest with them!
All skill levels welcome! <3
Some of my favorite art of these characters have been by beginners. What's important is capturing their personality

Prompt:

A day at Citrouille Cirque~!
Draw at least one of the performers you see below~

Circus info:

It's a traveling circus~ (google images is your friend if you don't know what those look like)
The characters you have to choose from are:
Mae & Juniper:
^(15 years old - Twins - Trapeze artists - Their eyes are not actually pure blue like in the pictures, they're more blue-green)
Emily:
^(11 years old - Contortionist - Pretty much happy all the time unless she's bored - She can be drawn in a skirt or shorts - She has three black dots under each eye, and the shape of her pigtails is important. You can see more recent examples of Emily here: Triple OC Meme!
Cordelia:
^(17 years old - Animal handler/trainer - She looks angry, but she's actually just suuuuuper shy - She has pretty thin hair - Her favorite animal in the circus is a poorly trained chow chow named Rowan) *If you draw Cordelia, please leave out the cat on her shirt*

Interviewer: Hello there! Who are you, your name and gender please, and how old are you? Introduce yourself!
Mae:
Mae sat in the chair the interviewer provided, and looked around. Everyone else was in the middle of tearing down the circus tents, except for five people (herself included), who were "lucky enough to be interviewed!" as the director put it. Earlier in the day it had rained, so there weren't a lot of people there, and the sun was only now starting to come out.
Mae listened to the interviewer's oddly specific question, and answered as best, and efficiently she could.
"I'm Mae, female, fifteen." She glanced at the interviewer when he didn't ask a new question, as if to say, do I really have to introduce myself more than this? He looked back at her, and nodded for her to go on, scribbling her answers quickly in his small, black not

Rule-ish things:

-I have a feeling someone might ask this, so I'll clarify now: You don't have to draw the twins together. If you'd like, you can only draw Mae, or you can only draw Juniper. Same with Aster and Bae. (Although drawing them together would be nice too since they're almost always together~)

-You may enter as many times as you want, but only one entry can win.

Ada:


1. She was originally made for a baking school RP group, and her personality was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO different then xD She was a shy, awkward, cream puff loving baker. After the group died, I gave her a makeover in design, personality, and backstory, and she is now a powerful ruler of a kingdom
2. She's had 2 designs before her current one, both of which you can see here: <those designs were for the baking school.
3. She originally had a little brother, but when I redesigned her I took him out of the story xD She now has a twin brother named Aiden.
4. I'm working on a story for her, so I don't want to give out too many spoilers about what I have so far Q^Q I'd love to make a comic with her someday~
5. She is the ruler of a world in another universe, but has access to earth.
6. Each generation in her family can only give birth to a set of twins. For example, her grandma gave birth to twins, and her mom gave birth to Camille and Aiden, and Camille will eventually give birth to twins. And they can't have any more children before or after their twins. Whichever twin comes out first is the ruler.
7. In their world, they watch people on earth's lives as entertainment (they watch it using something similar to a TV), but the person's life they're watching has to be dead.
8. Camille has 2 main servants, and one of them is based off of a bunny stuffed animal that she got in the RP group she was in before.


Aster & Bae (I'm doing them together xD)

1. They are unicyclists and tightrope walkers in Citrouille Cirque (my group of circus OCs~)
2. Bae's hair is sliiiightly wavier than Aster's, so he straightens it xD
3. Aster had a brief romance with a girl outside of the circus.
4. Me and N-Yui VERY much ship Bae and Jacqueline <333
5. The idea for Aster and Bae came right after Mae and Juniper, but they weren't actually designed until way later. I think I designed 4 or 5 more circus OCs before they made their appearance
6. You can see their old design that I made on the top of here: (old art asdfghjkl), but I wasn't a huge fan of it, so me and N-Yui did an art trade, and she beautifully redesigned my bbys to what they are today! (I'm still so happy with their design QvQ THEY LOOK SO NICE <3)
7. They were originally going to be shipped with Mae and Juniper, but as soon as I gave them real personalities, it didn't fit. They are now just good friends~
8. They're best friends with Cordelia (animal handler in the circus).
